Louisa King

Louisa holds BSc (Hons) and PhD degrees in Organic Chemistry from The University of Sydney.

With over 9 years experience as a patent and design searcher, Louisa has conducted many different types of searches across a variety of technologies. Louisa specialises in all aspects of pharmaceutical and chemical searching, including chemical structure searching.

Prior to becoming a specialist intellectual property searcher, Louisa spent 3 years as a technical assistant with a leading Sydney based IP firm.

Louisa enjoys swimming, gardening and spending time with her family.

Julia Wright

Julia has been a patent and design searcher for over 18 years and has extensive experience in all areas of searching. She holds a Science degree from The University of Sydney majoring in Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Prior to patent and design searching, Julia worked as an analyst in the paint industry, in the Dept of Agriculture as a pesticide chemist and as an analyst with a vegetable oil and tallow supplier.

Julia has a strong interest in building and managed her own kit gazebo manufacturing business for many years and worked as an assistant to the project manager of a building company.

Julia relaxes by engaging in many outdoor activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, cross country skiing and bushwalking.
